The iconic E39 BMW M5 needs no introduction, and this 1999 example in Le Mans Blue is a glorious example of a sublime high-performance saloon. The vendor has owned the car for a reassuring 10 years, and reports both bodywork and paintwork are in ‘excellent’ condition. This will be further enhanced by a visit to the bodyshop prior to sale. The interior, with its desirable black and grey Silverstone leather upholstery, is in ‘good’ condition too – and comes complete with original sat nav and even a Nokia carphone in the centre console.
‘M5BTE’ has an odometer reading 136,000 miles, and the vendor says it has a “big A4 folder of history dating all the way up to 2014, where it has since been stored off the road”. An HPI check shows the car was previously written off as a Category C in 2010, but it was restored to fully road-worthy condition, and its appearance today reflects a high level of preparation.
