Chassis No. – WDB202022F476807

M.O.T. – June 2026

Odometer – 66,000

This highly original W202 Mercedes-Benz C200 Classic is finished in pristine white and even comes with stickers and registration plates carrying the supplying dealer’s logo and telephone number. It was registered on 27 September 1996, and has only had four previous keepers in that time. The vendor has owned it since 2016. A “lovely, well-maintained vehicle,” they say it has a “meticulous mechanical history and has never failed an MOT”. The current MOT is valid until June 2026. The only visual upgrade on the outside is the recent fitment of a set of polar white alloy wheels. The odometer reads 66,000 miles, which is low for a W202 Mercedes-Benz.

‘P891FND’ has a grey cloth interior instead of the usual leather, a rare and collectable touch. It has a period Blaupunkt cassette player and the centre console features the famous Mercedes-Benz striped wood. Air conditioning is fitted and both driver and passenger have their own temperature controls. The 2.0-litre four-cylinder engine is paired with an automatic transmission. Overall, ‘P891FND’ is described as being in ‘excellent’ condition throughout.

The 1983 Mercedes-Benz 190E set the template for the ‘baby Benz’ in 1982. The W201 was styled by Bruno Sacco and boasted advanced suspension including a multi-link rear setup. It drove in such a sophisticated way, it immediately eliminated any doubts as to whether a baby Benz could work. The W201 had a long 11-year life before it was replaced by the similarly grown-up W202 model in 1993. This took refinement to even greater highs, and was packed with the latest safety technology that filtered down from the larger S-Class.

In summary:

  • 1996 W202 Mercedes-Benz C200 Classic offered at No Reserve
  • Described as being in ‘excellent’ condition throughout
  • Odometer reads just 66,000 miles
