Now a modern classic in its own right, the sixth-generation Toyota Celica (T200 series) built on the marque’s long-standing reputation for producing stylish, reliable, and well-balanced sports coupes. With sharp lines, pop-up headlights, and eager naturally aspirated engines, these Celicas offered a compelling mix of Japanese engineering and everyday usability. The ST202-generation 2.0-litre 16-valve model was particularly popular in the UK market, with its rev-happy four-cylinder engine and well-weighted chassis.

This UK-supplied example is finished in striking Super Bright Yellow with a black and grey interior, and has had just four registered keepers from new. The vendor informs us that the car was most recently in the hands of a long-term owner for over 20 years, under whose care it received a range of mechanical and cosmetic improvements. These include a new alternator, battery, condenser, and a full brake overhaul — with new discs, pads, and powder-coated calipers all round.

The car rides on four new tyres mounted to refurbished alloy wheels, which have been powder coated in gloss black — a smart contrast to the vibrant yellow bodywork. Overall, this well-kept Celica presents as a usable and increasingly collectible Japanese modern classic, offered with a fresh MOT through to May 2026.

In summary

• UK-supplied ST202 2.0 16V example in rare Super Bright Yellow

• Four keepers from new, with last owner retaining the car for over 20 years

• Recent mechanical works include alternator, brakes, tyres and cosmetic wheel restoration
