This 2015 Abarth 595 Competizione is a desirable version of the high-performance Italian city car. It is finished in what is believed to be metallic Podium Blue with a black interior featuring a tantalising red dashboard panel that’s colour-matched to the door mirrors. The vendor has owned the car for two years, and it has had five owners since new. ‘BD65YEY’ has a full service history from a combination of Abarth dealers and independents, and is said to be a “really well looked after vehicle". ‘BD65YEY’ boasts some enthusiast-pleasing upgrades, too. It has been remapped from the standard 180bhp to a well-judged 219bhp. It has a forged actuator, BMC induction kit, Airtec front-mounted intercooler and stylish bonnet air vents. The suspension has been lowered and stiffened, and it has Repartocorse wheel spacers to give it the perfect on-road stance.

The Abarth 595 was introduced in 2008 as a high-performance alternative to the reborn Fiat 500 city car. Instead of low-powered engines, it used a series of sparking 1.4-litre turbo motors. When combined with the compact dimensions and light weight, it created a genuine pocket rocket. Suspension was enhanced accordingly and, over the years, Abarth kept on developing and honing the 595. The Competizione was one of the range-toppers, with 180bhp and a fruity Record Monza exhaust to boot. It even featured a Sport button, to configure it into ‘maximum attack’ mode.
