‘P36 DBW’ is an E36, third generation BMW, 3 Series Convertible in 318i, five speed manual configuration. With just a mere two keepers to date and an indicated 51,300 miles covered, ‘P36 DBW’ offers an incredible provenance for its age. The first owner retained ‘P36 DBW’ for around 4 years and the second, and current, keeper has owned it since October 2000! ‘P36 DBW’ comes complete with the rarely seen factory, removable hard top together with the garage lifting mechanism for it. ‘P36 DBW’ has enjoyed advisory free MOTs throughout its life and its current one is valid until April 2026. ‘P36 DBW’ presents in a very 1990’s period green which suits this stylish convertible very well indeed. The hood is a fabric item and is finished in a complementary shade of green. ‘P36 DBW’ further benefits from the inclusion of a factory hardtop in body colour which only adds to the desirability of this fine example. The practical and surprisingly spacious cabin offers ample accommodation for four adults and is finished in a delightful and luxurious mid tan leather. ‘P36 DBW’ represents a rarely seen example of a highly original E36 BMW. Commensurate with this car’s sensible mileage to date the vendor rates the bodywork, paintwork and interior as “excellent.”
‘P36 DBW’ is fitted with the 1796cc, M43B18 4-cylinder, four cylinder petrol engine. This is a fuel injected unit originally rated at 115bhp and 124 lb-ft of torque. In this case it is mated to the optimal five speed manual gearbox which transfers power to the rear wheels. This combination remains more than capable in today’s road conditions. The vendor rates the engine, transmission and electrics as “excellent,” rendering ‘P36 DBW’ as a fine example of the highly desirable E36 Convertible.

BIDDING

PAYMENTS
Payment for lots is required by 1pm the day following the auction and can be made by any form of cleared funds. Should payment not be received by then, any lot(s) will be taken into storage at the Buyer's expense.
COLLECTION
Removal of lots can take place once the auction has finished and up until 1pm on the following day. If you are unable to collect yourself, please speak with one of our team should you wish put in contact with our transport / storage partners site at the auction.
