  Lot 32

2008 Mercedes-Benz CLK63 AMG

Registration - LG58 NJV

Chassis No. - WDB2093772F245091

M.O.T. - September 2021

Odometer - 56,788

If you’re an F1 fan, you’ll recognise this model as the one employed as a safety car for the 2006 and 2007 seasons – you may also recall the throaty exhaust note of its 6.2-litre V8 engine. The very-smartly presented Obsidian Black example on offer has resided with its current keeper, (the car’s third owner) since April 2013, during which time he has added 21,000 miles to the Benz, raising its total to 56,786. He informs us that has been ‘meticulously looked after and maintained’ and remains ‘totally original, having had no paintwork, wheel refurbishment or non-service repair work carried out at any stage’. It boasts a full main dealer service history with eight stamps in its book, its last garage visit being around 2,500 miles ago, when a service ‘B’ was carried out. The accompanying history file contains a full set of receipts and old MOT certificates, plus a current one valid until September 9 this year – copies of the original CLK AMG launch reviews are also included as part of the service and information pack. The vendor presently judges the car’s coupe bodywork, paintwork, half-leather black interior, 475bhp engine and seven-speed automatic gearbox to all be in ‘excellent’ order, and is selling it complete with: Global Telematics tracker system; an iPod/phone connection (the original multi-CD player is available); the original as-new and unused first aid kit and puncture repair canister; and the two original key fobs. The type of athletic wolf in sheep’s clothing car that will be missed by so many of us when the world goes totally electric – bag it and enjoy while you can!

The C209 series CLK was manufactured from 2002 to 2010, during which time it was available with no less than nine engine options, of which the 6.2-litre V8 was the most powerful.

  • An apparently splendid example of a very desirable model
  • Full main dealer service history
  • Comes complete with tracker system
  • Private Registration Not Included
