BMW described the Nine T Pure as the bike for modifiers and that’s particularly appropriate in this case. ‘RX18VSZ’ has benefitted from a raft of thrilling and expensive modifications to create a unique and impressive example. With just four keepers to date and a modest 10,900 miles covered, ‘RX18VSZ’ represents a fine ownership prospect for the custom bike fan. ‘RX18VSZ’ comes with an advisory free MOT valid until August 2025 and a part service history with recent maintenance undertaken by the vendor.

This head turning motorbike is fitted with impressive AC Schnitzer forged alloy wheels shod in new Metzler tyres. A Koso thunderbolt headlamp is fitted as are a number of BMW 719 items, including alloy tank, milled front engine cover, milled brake and clutch fluid covers, milled cylinder heads and milled footrests. An Ilmberger carbon front mud guard and carbon injector cover are present as is a Puig rear mudguard. These are joined by an Evotech radiator cover, Motogadget mirrors and indicators. It’s an impressive build. The vendor rates the paintwork, bodywork and rider environment as “excellent.”

The “standard” BMW R Nine T Pure Custom features an 1170cc, horizontally opposed twin cylinder DOHC engine originally producing around 108bhp and 86 lb-ft of torque. Of course, ‘RX18VSZ’ has benefitted from a raft of mechanical upgrades, too. These include an Öhlins steering damper and Öhlins fork inserts as well as a Wilbers rear shock. Akrapovič titanium headers are fitted together with Arrow custom twin silencers, K & N air filters and an Antigravity lithium battery. At this point it becomes clear that ‘RX18VSZ’ has been customised without regard to cost. All mechanical aspects of ‘RX18VSZ’ are rated as “excellent.”
