An exceptionally original example of the iconic Austin Mini, this 1964 850 Super De Luxe presents in outstanding condition that the vendor informs us is commensurate with the low mileage shown on the odometer. Notably, the car retains many factory features including its original interior, leather door check straps, sliding windows, door pulls and floor-start button – details that add significant period charm.
The Mini is believed to retain its original body panels and bodyshell, with an auction house expert previously remarking that the car appeared unrestored when last inspected. Finished in its period-correct green livery and still wearing its original brightwork, the car offers a rare chance to acquire an unmolested, highly original example of BMC’s revolutionary design.
