March 2023 Classic & Performance Car Auction

Lot 26

2003 Ford Mustang GT 4.6
***NO RESERVE***

Registration - LA52 EUR

Chassis No. - 1FAFP42X33F415179

M.O.T. - TBC

Odometer - 87,833

‘LA52 EUR’ is a lefthand drive, late model, fourth-generation Mustang powered by the optional 4.6-litre V8 engine, which produces 260bhp and 302 lb ft of torque. Its predominantly silver bodywork is complemented by a black roof, black bonnet stripe, black leather interior trim and a set of black-centred aftermarket alloy wheels. It certainly looks the part and sounds it too according to the vendor, who is the most recent of the Ford’s five UK keepers and purchased the car from Sovereign Car Sales of Whitchurch near Reading as recently as January this year. He is now offering the Mustang complete with Sony infotainment system, a history file containing owner’s manual, service book, the recent bill of sale, and a current MOT certificate valid to August 15. The odometer currently indicates a total of 141,355km from new (87,833 miles) and the car is being sold at No Reserve.

Now in its sixth generation, Ford’s famous pony car dates back to 1965 and was immortalised by the 1968 GT Fastback driven by Steve McQueen in the movie Bullitt – most people still regard the related car chase as the finest in cinematic history. The fourth generation Mustang, such as the sale car, reigned from 1994 to 2004 and was available in Base, GT and Cobra guise and with the choice of either coupe or convertible body. In true Mustang tradition the engine was mounted up front and driving the rear wheels.

In summary:

  • A lefthand drive import equipped with the 4.6-litre V8 engine
  • A 141,355km (87,833 mile) five-UK-owner example
  • Being sold at No Reserve
