This striking Mk1 example has been comprehensively rebuilt and developed into an exceptionally well prepared fast road and track-inspired machine, combining the iconic lines of the early Cortina with serious modernised performance. At the heart of the car is a Cosworth turbocharged engine which has recently undergone a full rebuild, along with a rebuilt turbocharger, and is paired to a desirable T5 gearbox. The combination promises formidable performance in what remains a lightweight and engaging classic saloon. Supporting upgrades include a fully adjustable suspension setup and a HiSpec braking system, ensuring the car’s handling and stopping capability match its considerable power.
