The Big End of Year Auction at Bolesworth Castle, Cheshire

Lot 34

2004 Chrysler Crossfire
***NO RESERVE*** With desirable 6-speed manual transmission

Registration – SCZ 9712

Chassis No. – 1C3APC9L25X026438

M.O.T. – NO

Odometer – 125,994

Finished in a striking shade of metallic red with contrasting black leather upholstery, this bold two-seater offers a great deal of style and performance for very modest outlay. Sitting on attractive multi-spoke alloy wheels and described by the vendor as a usable example rather than a show car, it presents as an ideal modern coupé to enjoy and improve, especially with the added appeal of being offered at no reserve.

The vendor informs us that this 2004 example is powered by the 3.2-litre V6, driving through the desirable 6-speed manual transmission, and is showing some 125,954 miles at the time of cataloguing. Right-hand drive and registered as SCZ 9712, it is finished in red with a dark interior, featuring leather seats, brushed-metal centre console, and drilled alloy pedals. The history file includes an assortment of MOT certificates together with various invoices, as illustrated, although the car is currently without a test certificate and will require inspection before road use.

Developed during the period of cooperation between Chrysler and Mercedes-Benz, the model shared much of its engineering with the contemporary SLK, including its platform and drivetrain. Built in Germany and clothed in distinctive ‘boat-tail’ styling, it delivered a blend of German solidity and American flair, and has since become an increasingly recognised modern classic, particularly in V6 manual form.

  • 3.2-litre V6, 6-speed manual, finished in red with black leather

  • History file with assorted MOT certificates and invoices; currently without MOT

  • Offered without reserve
