Registration – SB07 YKU
Chassis No. – WUAZZZ8E57N907067
M.O.T. – February 2026
Odometer – 83,500
Audi threw everything at the second generation RS4 Quattro. It was built on the B7 platform and featured the howling, 32 valve 4.2 litre as originally used in the R8. ‘SB07 YKU’ is a great looking example of this performance car giant in uber-practical Avant specification. Originally delivering a mighty 414 bhp at a sonorous 7,800 rpm, ‘SB07 YKU’ delivers its prodigious power via a six speed manual gearbox and Audi’s benchmark setting full time four wheel drive Quattro system. ‘SB07 YKU’ arrives from its fifth owner who acquired it around a year and a half ago. Today ‘SB07 YKU’ has covered around 83,500 miles – well below average for its age. ‘SB07 YKU’ is reported to be complete with a massive history file, a part service history from either dealers or renowned specialist (full with the exception of two years), and a valid MOT until February 2026. Offered here with NO RESERVE, ‘SB07 YKU’ will likely represent huge value for money for a family wagon with true supercar performance credentials.
The bodywork is finished in Audi’s Phantom Black and ‘SB07 YKU’ sits purposefully on the original 9J x 19-inch, seven arm double spoke alloy wheels which fill the arches appropriately fully. Xenon headlamps are also fitted. The sublime cabin is finished in Nappa leather in a black hue and is complete with the “wing-backed” heated front seats which were originally a £3,000 option. Other refinements include a carbon inlay kit, factory sunroof and a Pioneer head unit with hands free, ApplePlay and Android compatibility. The vendor rates the bodywork and paintwork as “good” and the interior as “excellent.”
That high revving 4.2-litre V8 engine remains the star of the show, however. Its 400 bhp plus output delivered a sub five second 0-60 mph time and a top speed electronically limited to 155 mph all accompanied by a stunning soundtrack. That soundtrack is only further enhanced by ‘SB07 YKU’s’ Milltek exhaust system. The RS4’s mechanical systems are all rated as “excellent” no doubt aided by a great maintenance history. This recently includes a Dynamic Ride Control (DRC) service in 2023 costing £1,000, and a carbon clean at 76,000 miles.
In summary:
· Nicely presented example of this range topping Audi A4 Avant
· Featuring the astounding 4.2-litre V8 powerhouse with an 8,000 rpm redline
· Benefitting from plenty of recent mechanical care and attention
