The Gold Cup Classic & Performance Car Auction

Lot 54

1989 TVR Tasmin 350i
*** NO RESERVE*** “Immaculately presented” and in ‘excellent’ condition throughout

Registration - F777 KMB

Chassis No. - SA9DH35P9KB019413

M.O.T. - January 2025

Odometer - 65,377

This late-model TVR 350i convertible was registered in June 1989 and is described as being in ‘excellent’ condition throughout – an “immaculately-presented car” that has been with the current owner for eight years. Finished in a desirable combination of red paintwork and biscuit leather interior, the odometer reads 65,277 miles and this is verified by old MOT certificates. ‘F777 KMB’ also has a service history that is complete up to 48,000 miles, while the current MOT is valid to January 2025 (and shows no advisories). The vendor says that, in such 'excellent' condition, this TVR 350i is “surely a future classic for the next owner”.

The TVR Tasmin 350i was introduced in 1983, as a more sporting evolution of the existing TVR Tasmin 280i. Instead of the older car’s Ford Cologne V6, the 350i used a 3.5-litre Rover V8, delivering nearly 200bhp for 0-62mph in 6.5 seconds. Visually, it was little different to the earlier Tasmin – and TVR actually dropped the ‘Tasmin’ name after a year, with the car becoming simply TVR 350i. Around 950 cars were built between 1983 and 1989, and a modified version of its capable chassis was later used to underpin the TVR Griffith.

In summary:

  • Late-model TVR 350i
  • “Immaculately presented” and in ‘excellent’ condition throughout
  • Lengthy MOT with no advisories
