This interesting competition car is offered with no reserve and could lend itself to a range of sporting endeavours with some modest investment of time and money. It is believed to have started its life as a F1300 race car but in more recent times has been campaigned in hill climbs and sprints, including several times on the hill at Gurston Down in Wiltshire. Thought to be fitted with a K1.6.4 compliant rollover protection system (ROPS), race harnesses and a robust and rigid spaceframe, this competition car could likely be easily run in Class D of Clubman competitions or continued to be used in hill climbs and sprints. A great opportunity for those with some competition nous.

This FTB car is fitted with a 1,300cc dry sump crossflow on twin 40 DCOE Weber carburettors with a dry sump system. A sequential transmission is fitted as is an A Series axle with 4.875 differential located on an A frame with long links.

Condition wise this race car looks to have been kept outside for a while with some light surface corrosion noted in places. Some heavy duty aerodynamic aids are noted and a nice looking set of Revolution split rimmed four spoke alloy wheels are fitted together with a set of semi-slick Avon tyres. The exposed powerplant features an alloy Holbay rocker cover. The cabin features just the bare race essentials. A bucket seat is present together with TRS race harnesses. The minimal gauge set consists of a 7000 rpm tachometer, an oil pressure gauge and a water temperature gauge. These sit behind a chunky, three spoke quick release steering wheel.
