***NO RESERVE***

Registration – L319 LNE

Chassis No. – 2G1FP22S5R2116458

M.O.T. – NO

Odometer – 67,239

Seldom found this side of the Atlantic, this example of Chevrolet’s Camaro represents a rare opportunity to obtain a true ‘pony car’, and is offered at no reserve. Presented in black, ‘L319 LNE’ features GM’s 3.4-litre V6 engine, here connected to a four-speed automatic transmission. An imported model, this left-hand drive example was first registered in the UK in 2005, and comes well equipped for its time, including electric windows, sports front seats, electric windows, and Bose audio system.

Displaying an indicated 167,239 miles on the clock, ‘L319 LNE’ does not currently have an MOT, having expired in 2023, though its last pass only had a worn tyre as an advisory. Presented for sale with V5C and past MOT certificates, the vendor has had this early third generation Camaro in their care for almost three years.

· Offered at no reserve

· Unusual imported model

· Genuine American ‘pony car’

A real American icon, the Chevrolet Camaro was first launched in 1966, and currently reaches across six generations. Designed to compete against the likes of Ford’s Mustang and Dodge Charger as an affordable coupe or convertible, the Camaro quickly established itself in the United States. The second generation lasted from 1970 until 1981, and the third from then until 2002. The fourth generation arrived on an updated platform, as well as a choice of six- or eight-cylinder engines, as had become the norm, and as either a coupe or convertible – the latter returning having been supplied as a T-bar convertible in the past because of US safety regulations. The entry-level model used GM’s 3.4-litre V6, and a 3.6-litre model was introduced a few years later, while the V8 units were shared with the Corvette for high performance models. The fourth generation model was built until 2002, the last Camaro until 2010, when Chevrolet reintroduced the badge.
