This is a magnificent, low mileage example of Ferrari’s Pininfarina-designed 559GTB Fiorano F1. Presented in Grigo Scuro metallic with Nero black leather interior with contrast Bianco white stitching, ‘LJ08 RLZ’ has a sophisticated, almost menacing beauty that strongly hints at its outstanding power and performance. This is further enhanced by the gloss black 20” HGTE split-rim alloy wheels with Giallo yellow brake callipers and carbon ceramic brakes. This beautiful two-seater boasts the optional Ferrari Carbon Finish Pack, so sports carbon fibre driving zone, gearshift paddles, central bridge, dashpiece and harness holes. The heated and fully electrically adjustable leather Daytona seats are also backed with carbon fibre. Factory Scuderia shields and Giallo yellow rev counter enhance the appearance of this handsome machine and contrast vividly with the Grigo Scuro paintwork and black leather interior. Bose sound system, dual zone climate control and satellite navigation are just a few of the refinements in the exceptionally well-appointed cabin, which is all leather, aluminium and carbon fibre. The car comes with a full service history. The current owner has cherished the car since June 2021, during which time it has been fully serviced by GTO Engineering. In November 2022 the Ferrari received a full service and had a new clutch fitted, at a cost of £9219. The vendor describes the six-litre V12 engine – the same power unit fitted to the Enzo supercar - as ‘excellent’ – as he does the six-speed semi-automatic transmission, electrics, bodywork, paintwork and interior. It has an MOT to 23 July 2024 and the low mileage of just over 38,031 is supported by the MOT history
The Ferrari 599GTB Fiorano has been described as ‘a crushingly capable supercar’ which combines ‘astonishing pace’ with ‘surprising comfort’. Launched in 2006 and produced until 2012, it was at the time Ferrari’s flagship, notable for its outstanding performance - a top speed in excess of 205mph and the ability to go from 0-62 mph in 3.7 seconds - and aerodynamic efficiency and for the innovative magnetic damping system and F1 Trac traction control, which enable the car able to tackle the twistiest of roads with ease. This was a car which combined near-hypercar performance with relaxing Grand Tourer comfort.
