‘GF59 SXG’ is a first generation 970 G1 Porsche Panamera from the first year of the model’s production. Seen here in 4S guise, ‘GF59 SXG’ combines a 395bhp 4.8-litre Porsche derived V8 engine, a seven-speed PDK dual-clutch automatic transmission and the Porsche Traction Management four wheel drive system. ‘GF59 SXG’ is being offered for sale by the seventh keeper with 103,527 miles covered to date. The overall condition appears excellent with just a few minor exterior blemishes noted. Accompanied by plenty of supporting paperwork and with a £3,000 plus gearbox overhaul and service from late last year, ‘GF59 SXG’ offers a rare chance to acquire an early example of Porsche’s most accomplished way for four people to cross continents.

Porsche had been toying with the idea of a saloon offering for many years. It took until 2009, however, for them to finally launch the sublime Panamera with its name inspired by the historic Carrera Panamericana race. ‘GF59 SXG’ looks tremendous in a livery which is variously described as “gold” and “silver.” Research suggests it may well be Platinum Silver, but in any event it suits the Porsche Saloon perfectly. The big 20-inch black and diamond cut Turbo wheels fill the big arches admirably and add to the drama of this Panamera along with the big quad tailpipes. There is a little scuffing to the alloys’ rims and the odd paintwork scratch, scuff and some slight deformation to the front bumper. The superbly fitted and finished four-seater cabin is finished in Black and Platinum grey leather with Platinum carpets and headlining. The fit and finish here is the equal of anything Porsche’s peers can offer managing to be deeply luxurious and eminently sporting at the same time. The condition is vendor rated as “excellent,” and this 4S is packed to the gunwales with high-tech features. Too many to list here, highlights include satellite navigation, Bose surround sound, electrically adjustable and heated seats throughout, chrono package, park assist and even the original Porsche branded car telephone remains.

‘GF59 SXG’ holds an MOT until December this year with just one advisory for a hairline crack in a rear lamp. This combined with a seemingly diligent maintenance history, four sumptuous seats and even a 400 litre plus boot, you and three friends could soon be heading to the Alps for Christmas in ‘GF59 SXG.’
