The Gold Cup – Classic, Performance & Supercar Auction

Lot 40

2007 Aston Martin V8 Vantage Volante
Only 26,000 miles from new, with a full service history

Registration – M50 OMP (Cherished plate not included)

Chassis No. – SCFBE04B67GD07250

M.O.T. – February 2027

Odometer – 26,000

Registered on 12th July 2007, this striking Aston Martin V8 Vantage Roadster is finished in the seldom-seen Vertigo Blue metallic and has covered just 26,000 miles from new.

The exterior colour is particularly well suited to the Vantage’s beautifully proportioned bodywork and is complemented by a blue leather interior and dark blue mohair convertible hood. The combination gives the car an individual but suitably understated appearance.

Power comes from Aston Martin’s naturally aspirated 4.3-litre V8, paired with the six-speed Sportshift transmission. Steering-wheel-mounted paddles allow manual control of the gearbox, while the electrically operated hood provides the opportunity to enjoy the V8 soundtrack with the roof lowered.

The cabin offers the combination of luxury and sporting character for which the Vantage became known, with this example benefiting from a desirable specification including satellite navigation, heated seats, cruise control, rear parking sensors and Sportshift paddles.

Of particular note is the accompanying service history. The service book contains numerous Aston Martin main dealer stamps, including repeated maintenance by Aston Martin Walton-on-Thames. Recorded mileages within the service history include approximately 935, 2,945, 4,307, 6,300, 7,630, 8,889, 11,111 and 13,345 miles, helping to support the car’s notably low recorded mileage.

The vendor also advises that the car has recently benefited from a replacement clutch, an important item of maintenance on a Sportshift-equipped Vantage.

Few modern Aston Martins have aged as gracefully as the original V8 Vantage. Its naturally aspirated V8, compact proportions and beautifully finished cabin give it a character that is becoming increasingly appreciated as newer generations move towards turbocharging and greater electronic assistance.

With just 26,000 miles recorded, comprehensive service history, attractive specification and its particularly rare Vertigo Blue colour combination, this represents a very appealing example of Aston Martin’s modern-classic Roadster.
