An Auction of Classic and Performance Cars and Motorcycles

  Lot 1

2003 Kawasaki Ninja ZX-6R
*** NO RESERVE ***

Registration - KN03 EBC

Chassis No. - ZX636AE006696

M.O.T. - No M.O.T.

Odometer - TBC

The smartly-presented Ninja on offer features red, black and silver bodywork teamed with black seating, and looks standard aside of its Micron silencer. It has most recently formed part of a private collection and been dry stored since 2020, so seen little use since purchased by the vendor from a dealership; at which point it was understood to be ‘running well’. He currently classes the powerplant, transmission, suspension and paintwork as all being in ‘excellent’ order, and the frame as ‘good’. He is now selling the bike complete with full service history. The odometer currently registers 27,000 miles.

Kawasaki’s ZX-6R is a line of sports bike that was introduced in 1995 and is still available in developed form to this day. As offered in 2003 it was powered by a 636cc transverse-mounted DOHC four-stroke engine that produced some 117bhp at 13,000rpm – a sufficient output to propel the machine from rest to 60mph in around 3.0 seconds dead and on to a terminal speed in excess of 160mph. The fuel-injected unit drove through a six-speed gearbox and front wheel braking was by six-pot calipers. A full fairing protected the rider from the worst of the elements.

'A Buyer’s Premium applies to the Hammer Price of this Lot if your bid is successful, as per the following;  Motor Cars 12.5% + VAT (minimum £150 + VAT), Motorcycles and Bicycles 15% + VAT (minimum £100 + VAT); Registration Numbers 15% + VAT (minimum £50 + VAT); Automobilia 15% + VAT (minimum of £5 + VAT).'
