Finished in Alpine White with a contrasting Bordeaux Red leather interior, this well-presented Porsche 944 Turbo represents one of the finest examples of Porsche’s front-engined performance cars of the 1980s. Supplied new by Monarch Porsche of Warwick in October 1987, this UK-market example retains its matching-numbers configuration and is accompanied by an excellent history file documenting long-term enthusiast ownership and regular maintenance.

The 944 Turbo was powered by a 2.5-litre turbocharged four-cylinder engine producing 220bhp, paired with a rear-mounted transaxle for near-perfect 50:50 weight distribution. Its sophisticated chassis and turbocharged performance made it one of the most capable and rewarding sports cars of its generation. This particular example presents attractively throughout, with the Alpine White paintwork complemented by the deep red leather interior and original 16-inch Teledial alloy wheels.

The car benefits from recent attention by marque specialists including Retro Restorer, with invoices covering work such as replacement brake lines, suspension bushes, and extensive recommissioning. The comprehensive history file includes the original Porsche document wallet, Guarantee & Maintenance book, driver’s manuals, a large file of invoices, and numerous MOT certificates charting its use and care over the years.

The 944 Turbo remains one of the most accessible entries into classic Porsche ownership, combining exceptional engineering, practical usability, and rewarding performance. This example — with excellent provenance, desirable colour combination and strong mechanical integrity — would be a worthy addition to any serious enthusiast’s collection.

  • Finished in Alpine White with Bordeaux Red leather interior

  • Extensive service history with Porsche Centre and independent specialists
