Registration - P833 MFM
Chassis No. - SCAZA12C5VCH59213
M.O.T. - November 2022
Odometer - 28,302
This supremely elegant righthand drive Rolls-Royce Silver Dawn has had just two owners from new and driven a total of 28,302 documented miles. It was delivered to its first owner in August 1986, with whom it resided on the Isle of Man from 1997 to 2008, at which point it was acquired by the most recent keeper, an elderly member of the Rolls-Royce Enthusiasts’ Club from Birkdale, Southport. He purchased the car for £30,000 from Balmoral UK, a Rolls-Royce and Bentley marque specialist based in Halesowen – at that stage it had accrued 21,538 miles, to which a mere 6,764 have since been added. ‘P833 MFM’ is finished in Royal Ebony and trimmed in black-piped Parchment hide that’s paired with black Wilton carpets. The Silver Dawn is clearly in fine condition and the vendor none too surprisingly rates the V8 engine, automatic gearbox, bodywork, paintwork and upholstery as all being in ‘excellent’ order. Apparently, this 25-year old motorcar has never failed an MOT (or even had its record tarnished with an advisory), and while in the care of its most recent keeper has always been garaged and never driven in the rain. It is now being sold complete with a full car cover; battery charger; the original specification list and sales invoice for £10,976.13; the sales invoice and brochure relating to the Balmoral purchase; a large collection of service invoices and old MOTs, plus a current certificate valid into November of next year. A fine example of a rare model – only 237 Silver Dawns were produced all told – that deserves a suitably appreciative new home.
In summary:
'A Buyer’s Premium applies to the Hammer Price of this Lot if your bid is successful, as per the following; Motor Cars 12.5% + VAT (minimum £150 + VAT), Motorcycles and Bicycles 15% + VAT (minimum £100 + VAT); Registration Numbers 15% + VAT (minimum £50 + VAT); Automobilia 15% + VAT (minimum of £5 + VAT).'
Potential buyers should satisfy themselves with the description and condition of each lot prior to sale. Each vehicle is offered ‘as is/as seen’ as per the terms and conditions for the auction, buyers are asked to inspect the vehicle in person or use a professional to carry out the service.
