A much-cherished and enthusiast-owned example, ‘MV08 BLX’ is a striking 2008 Subaru Impreza WRX STI that the vendor informs us has benefitted from extensive recent mechanical investment. Most notably, the car received a brand-new engine and Exedy clutch in 2023, along with a new timing belt, Mishimoto aluminium radiator, and Samco silicone hoses — all contributing to what the vendor confidently describes as “excellent mechanical condition.”
Presented in iconic STI fashion with custom decals, quad-outlet performance exhaust, and original STI calipers paired with Prodrive alloys, the car also features perforated front discs and Pirelli tyres for assured road handling. The performance upgrades are matched with an upgraded Pioneer head unit inside, providing a more modern in-cabin experience.
Launched in the early 2000s, the Subaru Impreza WRX STI is a rally-bred icon renowned for its all-wheel-drive grip, turbocharged performance, and engaging handling, making it a favourite among enthusiasts and collectors.
