The Triumph Spitfire remains one of Britain's best-loved classic sports cars, offering lightweight handling, simple mechanicals and timeless Michelotti styling. Produced throughout the 1960s and 1970s, the Spitfire continues to enjoy a loyal following thanks to its engaging driving experience and straightforward ownership.
First registered in 1972, this attractive example is presented in red with a black interior and black soft top. The vendor advises that the odometer displays just 21,000 miles, a figure believed to be genuine and highly credible given the car's exceptionally original condition. While there is a mileage discrepancy recorded on an MOT dated 9 July 2015, this appears consistent with an MOT data entry error, and the overall condition of the vehicle strongly supports the low recorded mileage.
The car has clearly been cherished throughout its life and retains a pleasingly original appearance. The interior remains well presented with its original-style dashboard and instrumentation, while the engine bay is tidy and fitted with K&N air filters.
