February 2022 Classics Auction

  Lot 2

1971 Suzuki T350

Registration - MCW 374J

Chassis No. - 3114

M.O.T. - Exempt

Odometer - 1,161

This smartly presented two-stroke parallel twin appears to be in good, unrestored condition, and currently displays an unwarranted but credible total mileage of just 1,161. Its sparkling gold tank and side panels are matched to a black frame and a seemingly unmarked black seat. The vendor informs us that it is an American import that has had his name on the V5 since June 2007, prior to which we understand there was only one previous keeper. The number plate carries the name of Crooks Suzuki, a dealer in Barrow-in-Furness, and the most recent MOT was issued in April 2007. The vendor views the 315cc engine and six-speed gearbox as being in excellent order, and the frame and paintwork as ‘good’.

Also known as the Rebel, Suzuki’s T350 was produced between 1969 and 1972, and is generally regarded as the fastest 350 machine of the period – with a claimed 39bhp on tap it was capable of up to 95mph.

'A Buyer’s Premium applies to the Hammer Price of this Lot if your bid is successful, as per the following;  Motor Cars 12.5% + VAT (minimum £150 + VAT), Motorcycles and Bicycles 15% + VAT (minimum £100 + VAT); Registration Numbers 15% + VAT (minimum £50 + VAT); Automobilia 15% + VAT (minimum of £5 + VAT).'

Potential buyers should satisfy themselves with the description and condition of each lot prior to sale. Each vehicle is offered ‘as is/as seen’ as per the terms and conditions for the auction, buyers are asked to inspect the vehicle in person or use a professional to carry out the service. Any disputes over descriptions will not be entertained.

Estimated at £5,000 - £6,000
