Registered in 2008, this BMW M3 Convertible represents a fine example of the celebrated E93 generation, powered by the naturally aspirated 4.0 litre V8 engine that has become one of the most revered powerplants produced by BMW M. Delivering an intoxicating soundtrack and sharp performance, the model remains widely regarded as one of the last truly analogue M cars, combining high revving character with everyday usability.
Finished in a classic silver metallic exterior complemented by a black leather interior, the car presents well throughout and benefits from the desirable six speed manual transmission. The interior features the familiar driver focused M cockpit with multifunction steering wheel, aluminium trim and BMW’s iDrive system, while the folding hardtop roof allows the car to transform seamlessly from coupe like refinement to open top motoring at the touch of a button.
This example shows just 55,000 miles from new and was originally supplied by Barons BMW of Hindhead, Surrey. Accompanying the vehicle is its original book pack which includes the stamped service record demonstrating consistent maintenance throughout its life. The history file confirms servicing by BMW main dealers and specialists including Elms BMW Stansted, Dick Lovett Swindon BMW and Prindiville. Also present are the supplying dealer cards from Barons Hindhead together with the original documentation.
The vendor informs us the vehicle drives well and has been maintained with care, with the V8 engine delivering the distinctive performance for which the E9x generation M3 is renowned. Increasingly sought after as the last naturally aspirated V8 M3, the convertible offers the additional appeal of open air motoring while retaining the dynamic character expected from BMW’s M division.

VIEWING

BIDDING
If attending the event, please make yourself known to the auctioneer when you wish to bid on a lot, either by a wave or vocally if they haven’t seen you. Once an auctioneer has taken a bid from you, they will always come back to you if you have been outbid.

PAYMENTS
Payment for lots is required by 1pm the day following the auction and can be made by any form of cleared funds. Should payment not be received by then, any lot(s) will be taken into storage at the Buyer's expense.
COLLECTION
Removal of lots can take place once the auction has finished and up until 1pm on the following day. If you are unable to collect yourself, please speak with one of our team should you wish put in contact with our transport / storage partners site at the auction.

This sale adopts our refined live online auction format, conducted behind closed doors with a professional auctioneer and live streamed via our website, with bidding available globally online and via telephone. The Hampson Auction name is rooted in our heritage, first used at our Winsford headquarters in the 1980s, now returned in a modern format.
Extended viewing will be available for five days prior to the auction, with the sale conducted live at 12 noon on Sunday 26th April 2026.
Buyers benefit from seven days complimentary storage following the sale, allowing collection without immediate time pressure.
