The vendor informs us this charming Austin A30 has benefited from a comprehensive nut-and-bolt rebuild, restoring it to a standard rarely seen today. Finished in Old English White with a red interior, it presents in delightful condition throughout.
Accompanying the car is a truly remarkable history file, including old MOT certificates, invoices, period brochures, historic tax discs and other documents that trace the car’s life across the decades. Together, they give a rare and fascinating insight into its provenance and care.
The A30 holds a special place in post-war motoring history, introduced in 1951 as Austin’s answer to the Morris Minor and powered by the new 803cc A-Series engine. Compact, economical and stylish in its day, it went on to become a much-loved British classic, with many surviving examples cherished by enthusiasts.
