This very period-looking 500cc single was in the care of the vendor’s late father for some 30 years, but due to him having several projects on the go simultaneously it remained unfinished and therefore unused throughout the whole period. As a result, it will now need a degree of reassembly and recommissioning before returning to the roads, and possibly a few replacement parts as well. The bike is accompanied by a spare cylinder barrel and chain cover, as well as a photocopy of the old V5, maintenance manual, spares list and a pair of AJS books. An interesting and worthwhile project that is being offered without Reserve.

Our May auction of classic, modern classic and prestige cars and motorbikes will take place at Mavericks in Holywell, North Wales (half an hour’s drive from Chester).
There will be free parking for auction attendees.
