Introduced in 1963, the Jaguar S-Type combined the elegant styling of the Mk2 with the independent rear suspension developed for the E-Type and MkX, creating a refined sporting saloon that remains highly regarded by enthusiasts today. The 3.4-litre version offered an excellent balance of performance and comfort, particularly when specified with the desirable manual gearbox.
Finished in cream with a black leather interior, this right-hand drive example presents well and retains many of the period features associated with the model. The wood veneer dashboard and door cappings complement the interior, while the vendor informs us that the car benefits from a replacement wooden steering wheel.
The vendor advises that the odometer currently displays 5,985 miles. We are unable to verify whether this represents the total mileage covered and interested parties should satisfy themselves in this regard.
According to the vendor, the Jaguar has recently benefited from a programme of refurbishment including renewed exterior brightwork, a replacement headlining, a new radiator, new Jaguar sill tread plates and a set of four new tyres. The accompanying photographs also show a quantity of spare parts included within the boot, which the vendor informs us will accompany the vehicle.
The vendor further informs us that the car is fitted with its 3.4-litre XK engine coupled to a manual gearbox. As with all vehicles of this age, prospective purchasers are encouraged to satisfy themselves as to the originality, specification and mechanical condition prior to bidding.

PAYMENTS
