Finished in the attractive green and white livery with black frame and chrome brightwork, this 1965 example presents as a smart and usable machine. The twin-cylinder engine is neatly detailed with polished casings and correct Triumph badging, while the wire-spoked wheels, twin silencers and slimline mudguards give the machine its purposeful mid-1960s stance. The machine is fitted with a small flyscreen and retains its twin clock instrument layout.
The chassis number T100SSH41763 corresponds with the identification shown and confirms this as a genuine T100SS model. The odometer displays 21,517 miles, although this figure cannot be warranted and should be treated as indicative only. A sticker to the rear brake plate references Steve Tonkin Restorations, suggesting previous specialist attention. The machine is offered with registration MMA 38C and is currently showing an expired M.O.T.
The T100SS Tiger was developed as the sporting evolution of Triumph’s popular 500cc twin, offering lively performance and sharp handling in a lightweight package.
