This decidedly eye-catching 355 features ivory highlights on its Rosso Corsa bodywork, which match the colour of the leather interior trim and result in a ‘prancing horse’ like no other. The car appears immaculate throughout and has apparently only travelled a total of 32,954 miles to date. It has remained within the current ownership for the last decade and clearly been treated with due respect. The Ferrari comes with a full service history, the last addition to which was made in late 2018 at 32,693 miles and covered the replacement of the cambelt plus the installation of fresh Prestone coolant, NGK spark plugs, Shell Helix Ultra oil, and oil and air filters. In addition, the transmission hydraulics have been upgraded to 360 Modena specification for a more responsive gearchange, the gas struts for bonnet and boot have been renewed, a battery condition meter installed by Ferrari dealer JCT 600 of Leeds, and the original Ferrari radio/CD player fully serviced. In summary, the vendor has no hesitation in classing the V8 engine, six-speed automated manual gearbox, coupe bodywork, unique paintwork and luxurious leather interior as all being in ‘excellent’ order. We understand from him that ‘T399 LJW’ has been reserved for display in local classic car shows during his tenure and he is now seeking an equally caring new owner to whom he can sell the car complete with a current MOT valid to July 3 next year.
Maranello’s F355 remains one of its most popular models to date, with 11,273 examples produced between 1994 and 1999. Even so, only 454 of those were reputedly equipped with righthand drive, of which this spectacular-looking Berlinetta is one.
