An Auction of Classic and Performance Cars and Motorcycles

  Lot 38

2018 Honda CB1000R

Registration - MC18 UTT

Chassis No. - SC80E5002724

M.O.T. - No M.O.T.

Odometer - 5,899

This standard, second generation CB1000R was supplied new to the first of its two keepers by Hunts Motorcycles. It is presented in virtually

as-new condition with just 5,899 miles recorded to date. The vendor acquired ‘MC18 UTT’ in 2021 and currently considers the engine, six-speed manual transmission, frame, paintwork, brightwork and cycle parts to all be in ‘excellent’ order, and classes the suspension as ‘good’. He is now selling the Honda complete with aftermarket radiator guard, its full set of manuals and various receipts for Honda health checks etc. A number of spares are also available by separate negotiation.

The naked CB1000R was unveiled at the Milan Motorcycle Show of 2007 as a replacement for the outgoing CB900F Hornet. Production of the first iteration ran from 2008 to 2016. The revised version, as per the sale bike, came on song two years later and is still available to this day. Power for the mono-backbone steel frame comes from a 143bhp liquid-cooled DOHC in-line, four-cylinder, four-stroke engine of 998cc. Front suspension is by inverted telescopic forks and the rear by single-sided swing arm.

'A Buyer’s Premium applies to the Hammer Price of this Lot if your bid is successful, as per the following;  Motor Cars 12.5% + VAT (minimum £150 + VAT), Motorcycles and Bicycles 15% + VAT (minimum £100 + VAT); Registration Numbers 15% + VAT (minimum £50 + VAT); Automobilia 15% + VAT (minimum of £5 + VAT).'
