It’s long since been fashionable for the British motoring fraternity to change cars every few years, but when you happen upon a 27-year old vehicle in such excellent order as this remarkably tidy BMW, you have to wonder about the wisdom of such actions. The previous husband and wife owners retained it for almost 20 years and Experian Autocheck confirms that there had only been three keepers prior to them. Finished in silver and trimmed in grey cloth it presents extremely well, with only a very few age related marks, blemishes and blisters to prevent it being described as immaculate. Certainly, the vendor appears fully justified in classing the straight-six engine, five-speed manual transmission, paintwork and upholstery as ‘excellent’ and the bodywork as ‘good’. It is currently missing its wheel and bonnet badges, but that situation can be simply and inexpensively resolved by the next owner.
