2007 Audi RS4 Convertible
Much-cherished example combining brutal performance, open-top motoring and an upgraded Tubi exhaust system

The B7-generation Audi RS4 is widely regarded as one of Audi's finest modern performance cars, combining a high-revving naturally aspirated V8 with a six-speed manual gearbox, quattro four-wheel drive and a beautifully balanced chassis. In Cabriolet form, it also offers the added appeal of open-top motoring, making it one of the more distinctive and characterful variants of the RS4.

This example is finished in an attractive grey metallic with a black leather interior and presents very well. The cabin retains the model's distinctive RS4 detailing, including the embossed sports seats, RS4 steering wheel and aluminium trim. A Pioneer touchscreen multimedia system has also been fitted, bringing useful modern features including DAB radio, Bluetooth, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.

Under the bonnet sits Audi's celebrated 4.2-litre naturally aspirated V8, factory rated at 353kW, coupled to the desirable six-speed manual gearbox and quattro permanent four-wheel-drive system. The vendor informs us that the car has also been fitted with a Tubi exhaust system at a cost of approximately £5,000, giving the V8 an appropriately sporting soundtrack.

The accompanying history file includes the original service book with a strong sequence of stamped maintenance entries. Early servicing was carried out by Derby Audi, with further documented servicing by Portsmouth Audi and Slough Audi. The records extend through to October 2017, while a further service entry dated May 2024 is stamped by independent Volkswagen, Audi, SEAT and Škoda specialist VRT.

The odometer is currently displaying 56,842 miles. Prospective purchasers should note that historic service-book entries include kilometre readings which should be considered alongside the displayed odometer reading and accompanying documentation when assessing the car's mileage history.

Externally, the car retains the purposeful wide-bodied styling that makes the B7 RS4 instantly recognisable, together with its large RS alloy wheels and quad-exhaust appearance. The Cabriolet roof gives the car an entirely different character from the saloon and Avant, while still retaining the performance and mechanical specification for which the RS4 is so highly regarded.

With its naturally aspirated V8, manual gearbox, quattro drivetrain, open-top bodywork and extensive accompanying service history, this represents an appealing opportunity to acquire one of Audi's most charismatic modern performance cars.
