The epitome of Italian style, this exquisite low mileage 308 would be a treasured addition to any classic car collection. Finished in the perfect combination of Rosso Corsa bodywork and beige hide interior trim, ‘ADU 414X’ has remained within the same ownership since 2016, when the vendor purchased it from Tom Hartley’s up-market car emporium. It has served to promote his business but travelled just 336 miles in the process, meaning the overall figure to date is a notably modest 32,836, that’s been amassed by a total of six keepers. The service book contains stamps up to 26,000 miles and, among other bills, the history file includes one for £12,254.23 on behalf of AE Performance Engineering Ltd of Knutsford for a full cambelt service, that was carried out only 615 miles ago. Supplied new by Maranello Concessionaires, the prancing horse was delivered by Colmore Depot of Birmingham to its first owner, a Mr P Howarth, on June 10, 1982. The total cost was £19,855.79 including the provision of castoro carpets and air conditioning. In immaculate condition inside and out, this lovely GTSi is now ready to give pleasure to a new keeper, and comes complete with service book, numerous past MOT certificates, receipts for work carried out, the original build sheet and invoice, purchase invoice from Tom Hartley, and Ferrari Classiche certification

The Pininfarina-penned 308 GTB debuted at the Paris Salon in 1975 as a replacement for the Dino 246 and supplement to the Bertone-styled Dino 308 GT4 2+2. The Targa-topped GTS was first seen at the 1977 Frankfurt Salon and was updated with Bosch K-Jetronic fuel injection in 1980, giving rise to the GTSi. Production had totalled 1,743 examples by the time the model was replaced by the 308 Quattrovalvole in 1982.

In summary:

  • Just 32,836 miles from new, and only 336 since 2016
  • Immaculate condition inside and out
  • Comes with comprehensive history file and Ferrari Classiche certification
