M.O.T. - June 2025

This 2006 Maserati Quattroporte, resplendent in classic Blu Nettuno metallic with Avorio leather, is enticingly being offered at No Reserve. A true thoroughbred with a sublime 4.2-litre V8 engine, it has had a cosseted life, with the odometer reading just 37,000 miles. This car also has the Ferrari-built six-speed Duo-Select semi-automatic transmission, and is capable of 0-62mph in 5.2 seconds and 171mph. Originally supplied by Stratstone Maserati Manchester in June 2006, optional extras included 19-inch alloy wheels, red brake calipers, power sunroof, electric heated front seats and walnut trim. The vendor describes the engine, electrics, paintwork and interior as ‘excellent’ and the car will come with an MOT valid until June 2025.

‘MX06HXS’ has only had one previous keeper, who religiously serviced it first at a Maserati main agent, and then at specialists Fine Car Store. The vendor says it has been serviced to every mileage requirement, and it comes with a comprehensive history file. The car ended up being sat in a garage for five years after the previous owner died. The second keeper says it has been garaged in a local lock-up for more than 10 years and he only bought it out in the summer for fun outings; for the rest of the year, it has been SORN’d.

The modern Maserati Quattroporte four-door luxury saloon was revealed to the world at the 2003 Frankfurt Motor Show, reviving a storied name from the Italian brand’s past. The 395bhp V8 engine delivered thrilling performance and a classic howling soundtrack, while ingenious Skyhook adaptative suspension ensured a poised and tenacious drive. The car was well received by the media and helped the Maserati brand thrive during the 2000s. Today, this fifth generation Maserati Quattroporte is an increasingly popular collectable.

  • Low-owner car with low mileage and offered at No Reserve
  • Comprehensive service history
  • Desirable colour combination and high standard specification
