1996 Vauxhall Astra Merit 1.4 Auto

This very tidy three-door hatchback example of Vauxhall’s third generation Astra is notable for being a two owner (the first being the supplying dealer) car that’s travelled just 19,450 miles from new. It is finished in metallic red and trimmed in grey cloth, and is essentially unchanged from the day it came off the production line. According to the vendor ‘it runs and drives superbly and even retains its new-car smell’. He regards the interior as being in ‘excellent’ condition, and the exterior as ‘very good save for a few minor scuffs inflicted by the last elderly owner prior to his retirement from the roads’.
