Lot 54

1969 MG MGC Roadster
Comprehensive history file and supplied with factory hardtop

Registration – KBH 962G

Chassis No. – GCN1-4397G

M.O.T. – April 2026

Odometer – 44,610

The vendor informs us that this well-kept example presents attractively in Old English White and benefits from a black interior with red-piped seats, a factory-style hardtop, and chrome wire wheels giving it a classic period look. Showing just four previous keepers, the car starts and runs well, displaying 44,610 miles, and carries an MOT until April 2026. A comprehensive history file accompanies the car, containing invoices, MOTs and supporting documents.

The chassis number indicates the car was originally supplied to the North American market before later being converted to right-hand drive, a common and accepted practice with these desirable six-cylinder cars. Inside, the cabin retains a clean and honest presentation with a period wheel, correct switchgear and auxiliary gauges. The three-litre straight-six engine is tidy under the bonnet, with the vendor reporting good oil pressure and strong performance.

Introduced in 1967, the C-series Roadster was developed as a more powerful alternative to the standard four-cylinder B, featuring a 2912cc straight-six producing 145bhp. With upgraded suspension, improved braking and long-distance touring capability, the model gained a loyal following. Produced for just two years and in far smaller numbers, it has become increasingly sought after for its refinement and distinctive character.

• Comprehensive history file with invoices and supporting documents

• Four previous keepers; originally North American-market, later converted to RHD

• MOT until April 2026 and showing 44,610 miles
