An American export model, ‘KCK 449F’ has formed part of a large private collection since it was repatriated in 2015. As the vendor is fortunate enough to have an array of machines from which to choose, the TR6R has led a relatively quiet existence in the last eight years, and still only displays a total mileage of 13,286. However, it has certainly not been ignored, and not only dry stored and well maintained, but started on a regular basis. We understand the Triumph’s tank has been resprayed, the speedometer and rev-counter overhauled, and that it features the favoured twin leading-shoe front brake set-up. It is now felt by the vendor to have ‘good’ twin-cylinder engine, four-speed gearbox, frame, suspension, paintwork, and cycle parts. A tidy British classic that’s ready to enjoy.
