To many eyes, the XJS is one of those designs that’s looked better with the passage of time, and good ones are increasingly eagerly sought. This lovely metallic red example is trimmed in champagne-coloured hide and rides on period correct five-spoke alloy wheels. The vendor informs us that it has been dry stored, and regards the 4.0-litre straight six-engine, automatic transmission, bodywork, paintwork and upholstery as all being in ‘excellent’ order.
