Presented in striking Alpina Blue with cream leather upholstery, this D3 Biturbo is a rare example of BMW’s celebrated collaboration with Alpina, blending executive refinement with serious performance. Numbered 083 on the factory plaque, it represents the marque’s philosophy of discreet power, with subtle Alpina styling cues, trademark turbine wheels, and a highly detailed interior.
Powered by a 3.0-litre twin-turbocharged straight-six diesel, the D3 Biturbo produces 345bhp and a formidable 516lb-ft of torque, channelled through an eight-speed automatic transmission. Capable of 0–62mph in just 4.6 seconds and a top speed north of 170mph, it remains one of the fastest diesel saloons of its era, yet still returns impressive fuel economy. Inside, the car features Alpina’s unique instrumentation, steering wheel detailing, and bespoke trim.
Launched in 2013, the F30-generation Alpina D3 was hailed as the ultimate all-rounder – offering performance comparable to BMW’s M cars, but with greater comfort and long-distance ability.
