Launched in 2005, the TT quattro Sport was conceived as the ultimate driver-focused version of Audi’s first-generation TT. Limited to just 1,000 units worldwide, with only 800 allocated to the UK, each example was individually numbered – this car being No. 828. Powered by the proven 1.8-litre 20-valve turbocharged engine, tuned to produce 240bhp, and coupled to the renowned quattro four-wheel-drive system, the model combined performance with agility. To save weight and increase stiffness, Audi deleted the rear seats in favour of a strut brace and fitted lightweight Recaro Pole Position bucket seats, while Alcantara was applied to the steering wheel, gear knob and handbrake.
The vendor informs us that this particular example presents in excellent, original condition, retaining its factory-fitted Recaro Pole Position seats and QS alloy wheels within the desirable 3.2 V6 body shell. Finished in the highly sought-after Misano Red, it benefits from a full service history, including a cambelt change, and shows just 68,008 miles from new. Offered with invoices, MOT history, and described as driving extremely well, it represents a rare opportunity to acquire one of Audi’s most celebrated limited editions – increasingly recognised as a modern classic.
