September 2022 Classics Auction

  Lot 76

1990 Yamaha DT50 MX
*** NO RESERVE ***

Registration - H766 BKM

Chassis No. - 5M6-076807

M.O.T. - N/A

Odometer - 17,296

‘H766 BKM’ was first registered in August 1990 and, according to Experian Autocheck, has had a total of eight keepers to date, who have amassed a total of only 17,296 miles between them, which amounts to little more than 500 per annum. The bike presents well, and is considered by the vendor to have ‘excellent’ bodywork and blue paintwork and ‘good’ 49cc two-stroke engine and five-speed gearbox. The DT50 is a relatively rare sight in the UK.

Yamaha’s DT50 MX remained in production from 1981 to 1996. The MX designation was used by the company for models featuring its innovative ‘Mono-Cross’ rear suspension system, that was the first to feature a single damper.
