A hugely popular modern classic and a true driver’s car, this 2011 example offers the lightweight roadster experience that has made the MX-5 such an enduring enthusiast favourite. Compact in size yet surprisingly practical, it remains one of the most accessible sports cars of its era, combining dependable engineering with engaging rear-wheel-drive handling and everyday usability.
Imported from Japan in 2011, the vendor informs us the car has had just two previous owners, adding to its appeal for those seeking a well-kept and sensibly owned example. It is further noted that the clocks were changed to UK specification in 2022. Presented in an eye-catching copper finish, the paintwork is described as average for its age, with the hard top noted as benefiting from repainting. The fabric roof is also reported to have a slight tear, offering scope for improvement should the next custodian wish to enhance presentation further.
The interior retains the clean and functional cabin layout these cars are known for, with supportive seating and a simple, driver-focused layout. With M.O.T. in place until July 2026, this is an appealing entry point into modern classic ownership and an ideal choice for anyone seeking an affordable open-top motoring experience with excellent club support and strong parts availability.
