1965 Buick Skylark Convertible
***NO RESERVE*** Very rare handbuilt Americana requiring full restoration

Registration – EYO 9C

Chassis No. – 444675H199570

M.O.T. – NO

Odometer – 27,657

An undeniably charismatic example of mid 1960s American open top motoring, this 1965 Buick Skylark Convertible is offered as a rare and highly rewarding restoration opportunity. Finished in weathered red with black hood and red interior, it presents today as an honest and complete project retaining strong visual presence and unmistakable period charm.

The vendor informs us that the vehicle has been in the United Kingdom since 1965, with Motor Check records supporting long term UK registration. Now requiring full restoration throughout, the car displays patinated bodywork, aged paint and areas of corrosion consistent with prolonged storage and recommissioning needs. The interior appears substantially complete, retaining its original style dashboard, switchgear and seating. The hood frame and fabric are present but will require attention.

Introduced in 1964, the Skylark formed part of Buick’s compact A body range and quickly established itself as a stylish and accessible slice of Americana. By 1965 the model benefitted from subtle styling revisions and continued to offer smooth V8 power, generous proportions and relaxed cruising capability. Today these cars enjoy a loyal following, particularly in convertible form, where their clean lines and open top configuration epitomise the golden era of American motoring.

Offered here as a genuine restoration project with considerable potential, this Skylark presents an opportunity for an enthusiast to return a rare handbuilt Americana convertible to its former glory.

• Very rare handbuilt americana convertible
• UK registered since 1965 according to Motor Check
• Offered without reserve and requiring full restoration
