The Gold Cup 2025 Classic, Performance & Supercar Auction

Lot 49

1999 Nissan 200SX Turbo
Tasteful upgrades and fitted with the all-important manual transmission

Registration – T193 LMS

Chassis No. – JN1GBAS14U0020449

M.O.T. – June 2026

Odometer – 62,350

A rare UK-supplied example of Nissan’s revered rear-wheel-drive performance coupe, this desirable 200SX has been in the care of its current keeper for approximately 20 years. Although the V5C records a change from business to private ownership in 2023, the individual remained the same – a reflection of long-term, consistent stewardship.

Finished in eye-catching green with a black leather interior, this manual five-speed example shows notably low mileage for its age. Having spent the last nine years off the road and dry stored under the same ownership, the sale is described by the vendor as a reluctant one, driven purely by a lack of storage space. Shortly after purchase, the car was treated to rust protection and, impressively, has never required any welding – a testament to its structural condition.

This enthusiast-owned example has been maintained to a high standard over the years, benefitting recently from an engine oil and filter change, new spark plugs, fuel filter, and a fresh MOT valid until June 2026. The accompanying history file includes stamped service records in the original handbooks along with a selection of original parts, supporting its careful ownership and preservation.

Performance has been tastefully enhanced with a number of quality upgrades, including a Horsham Developments Stage 1a ECU chip, a Mishimoto aluminium radiator with silicone hoses, and a full Blitz stainless steel Nur Spec cat-back exhaust system. Additional refinements include an Apex front-mounted intercooler, Walbro high-performance fuel pump, Nismo S-Tune suspension, VAG Red Top coil conversion, B&M short shifter, and a Sony USB/Bluetooth stereo system.

A fine and rare survivor of Nissan’s turbocharged S-chassis legacy, this well-kept and upgraded 200SX presents a compelling opportunity for collectors and enthusiasts alike.

In summary:

- Long-term enthusiast ownership spanning two decades

- Low mileage, dry-stored for approximately nine years

- MOT valid until June 2026
