Lot 90

1999 Ford Puma
***NO RESERVE*** One of a kind track-day vehicle with an MOT and full service history.

Registration – T216 OAW

Chassis No. – WF0CXXGAECXE31907

M.O.T. – November 2025

Odometer – 78,286

This 1999 Ford Puma 1.7 is described as a “one of a kind” car that has been “meticulously converted to a track-day-ready vehicle”. The vendor report around £10,000 of parts and labour have gone into creating it, with the 1.7-litre Yamaha-designed engine now producing 135bhp and 135lb/ft of torque.

Externally, the rear wiper and motor assembly have been removed, along with the rear bumper internals and spare wheel cradle cage. The bumper has seven 76mm ventilation holes in the lower rear section. There’s a Ford front towing eye, a Sparco rear towing strap – and a bespoke S1600 graphic kit by Creative Vinyl.

Inside, the interior has had all standard trim removed, including the audio system, in the interests of saving weight. There’s an OMP steering wheel and steering boss, OMP airbag delete and seatbelt pre-tensioner delete resistors, and OMP subframe mounts. Sparco R100 reclining race seats run on Sparco sliders, and there are Sparco four-point harnesses. On the safety front, a 1kg fire extinguisher is fitted, and ‘T216OAW’ has a six-pint Single Source motorsport roll cage that’s been professionally installed, being both bolted and welded into place.

There are OMP upper and lower front strut braces and an OMP rear internal strut brace, Pi lowering springs (by 40mm all round) and alignment by Suspension Secrets of Knutsford. Ford ST170 brake calipers are fitted at the front, with 300mm Delphi ventilated discs and Cosworth Street Master pads. Red Goodrich braided brake lines use Motul RBF660 brake fluid. The Speedline Corse wheels are fitted with Michelin Pilot Sport 3 tyres.

‘T216OAW’ was registered on 22 June 1999 and has had only four previous keepers – with the first, second and third keeping it for a combined total of more than 21 years. It has an MOT valid until November 2025. Its clean MOT history also shows it has covered a low mileage in recent years. Impressively, this eye-catching Ford Puma also has a full service history.

In summary:

  • Around £10k spend in converting it to a track day vehicle
  • Extensive array of big-brand componentry outside and in
  • MOT until November 2025
