Affectionately nicknamed ‘The Hulk’, this wild and wonderfully bespoke 1990 Bedford Rascal is unlike anything else on the road. The vendor informs us it has been extensively re-engineered and fitted with a Yamaha YZF R1 superbike engine, creating a unique flatbed machine with electrifying performance and road presence in equal measure.
Riding on four-spoke JBW 7-inch alloys with disc brakes all round, stopping power has been considered just as carefully as forward thrust – a wise move given the R1’s proven capability. The odometer currently reads 46,148 miles, though it should be noted the powertrain has undergone significant changes from standard. MOT tested until June 2026, it also features air horns and a number of detailed invoices from specialist restorers and builders.
Well known in car enthusiast circles and a regular talking point at shows, this one-off creation offers a rare opportunity to own a vehicle that is both to drive thrilling and visually unforgettable.
